The New Fashion Trend: Pink Color

Today’s post is all about the new queen of fashion the pink color which I highlighted in my latest collection THE NEW YORK SOCIAL DIARY. The pink color, which has been incredibly popular in recent years, is actually a color that I have included in my collections every season for years.

The reason for this is very simple. First of all, it spreads positive emotions. The color pink has been shown to have a calming effect on the mind and body, reducing stress and anxiety levels and lowering blood pressure and heart rate.

As a result of its positive effects on people’s mental and emotional health, it can be found in many different contexts, including the fashion, design, and technology industries.

I’ve always thought of pink as a happy, romantic color, and that feeling has only grown stronger over the years. Although gentler pink tones are more popular among women, men can also successfully wear this color with the right shade.

In my 2023 collection, I used both black quilted and pink smooth leather together. On the one hand, the nobility of black and the elegance of quilted, on the other, energizing pink leather. These two colors are one of the most common combinations, but the beauty is that you can also pair them with a complementary third color. For instance, white, cream, and gray. History of the Pink Color

There are only a few days left until Valentine’s Day, February 14, and the return of pink after the gray of winter will be a welcome sight. As a universally recognized representation of love and affection, this hue can be found in a wide variety of cultural contexts. In China and Japan, pink is associated with love, peace and happiness. In China, pink is considered a color for babies, referring to the pure love between mother and baby. In India, where it signifies cleanliness and purification, it is used in religious or sacred events.

In South America, pink is often preferred by women as a soft color, while in African cultures it is used for young girls and symbolizes the transition to young adolescence.

Another reason why it is a symbol of romance is that it is the most common color among flowers. Roses, tulips, orchids and other flowers that depict love in pink and shades of pink adorn the windows of florists every February.

Due to the relaxing and peaceful effect of pink, it is also associated with healing. This is why it is often used in hospitals and health care settings.

Celebrities Who Love Pink Color

Throughout history, there are many famous faces associated with the color pink. Here are the famous names that come to my mind in the first place

Gabrielle (Coco) Chanel, the founder of the world-famous fashion house Chanel, who this year launched a collection in the same shade of pink that I used for New York Social Diary, is a true pink lover. The famous designer’s 2 pieces suit has been on display in her shops for years as part of her classic collection; it is one of her most recognizable pieces and she is known for wearing only black, white, and pink herself.

Lady Diana, whose life began like a fairy tale and ended in tragedy, is another world famous figure who used pink a lot. One of the most unforgettable outfits of the Princess of Wales, who received the title of the Romantic Princess with her dresses in different shades of pink, which she often wore both daily and in official invitations, is this outfit by Gianni Versace.

Marilyn Monroe, one of the most important symbols of love and passion on the silver screen, and the pink dress she wore in the movie “Men Like Blondes” are still in the memory of all fashion and movie lovers.

I said style, I said love, I said passion, but Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll, is another celebrity who adores the color pink. The King, who usually uses all shades of pink in his stage outfits, also has a pink 1955 Cadillac in the Graceland museum where his grave is located.

Elton John, a close friend of the romantic Princess Lady Diana, is also a serious pink admirer. From his piano to his clothes and accessories, he successfully uses every shade of pink with his unique style.

Victoria Beckham, once the lead singer of the Spice Girls and now a fashion icon, is frequently featured on fashion pages with her Hermes Birkin bag collection in various shades of pink. With a $2 million Hermes collection, Beckham’s $150.00 ostrich Pink Birkin is one of the most valuable pieces.

Dear Friends

It seems that the color pink will be one of the main actors of the wardrobes for a long time starting this year. Pink, a color widespread in fashion but also in practically every other industry, will appear in my upcoming collections in a variety of forms to reflect the positive emotions and vitality it evokes.
